I worked at Bransgroves for 5 years on the front line, first as a junior solicitor and working my way up to partner, before taking on the operations side of the business. That experience means that I have an excellent knowledge of what is required to ensure that a mortgage advance goes smoothly and quickly, as well as how to deal with things when they go wrong. My role as COO involves streamlining our processes and procedures and ensuring that our technology and systems work seamlessly, enabling our staff to quickly get documents out and settle loans in a short timeframe. I train our staff not only on our technology and procedures but also on the latest developments in mortgage law to ensure that we are up-to-date and providing the best service possible for our clients. My responsibilities also include hiring and onboarding new staff members.
The work/life balance that the staff enjoy at Bransgroves Lawyers was one of the things that drew me to the firm in the first place. My colleagues and I have been the envy of many of our lawyer friends as we rarely ever need to work on a weekend or pull an all-nighter. This is all due to the efficiency of our systems and processes as well as the training our staff receive on our procedures. It is why I am passionate about my role and ensuring that we remain innovative in our approach to technology, processes and procedures so that our staff can continue to have an enviable work/life balance.
