Katherine Bowes

I’m an Associate at Bransgroves Lawyers, where I act for private lenders in complex mortgage enforcement matters. I joined the firm in 2025 as part of its newly established Enforcement Team, bringing over a decade of experience in both private and commercial litigation.

I take strong ownership of my matters and thrive in environments where I am trusted to deliver, not just thoroughly but efficiently. I believe effective lawyering requires equal parts strategy and empathy: knowing the legal levers available, but also understanding what the client actually needs at that moment.

Before joining Bransgroves, I worked in insurance litigation at a national firm, where I honed my drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills. My current practice spans a wide range of enforcement work, from preparing default notices and possession applications to analysing complex loan structures and securities. I enjoy the commercial, fast-paced nature of this work and the direct, tangible outcomes it delivers for clients.

My approach is strategic, pragmatic and grounded in clear communication. I take an active role in streamlining internal systems, managing high-volume files and supporting seamless handovers, always with a focus on momentum and results.

I value Bransgroves’ culture of autonomy, innovation and plain-language lawyering, and I am proud to be part of a team that prioritises action over red tape.
