Where you provide identity documents to us, you authorise us to verify them through the Australian Government’s Document Verification Service, which checks that the details on the document match the records of the authority that issued it. The check confirms a match or non-match only; we do not receive additional personal information from the issuing authority, and the check does not affect your credit file.
