The role of the mortgage lawyer is to represent the investors in a mortgage transaction. Bransgroves Lawyers specialises in providing this service. In this role we:

  1. prepare security documents;
  2. prepare the syndication deed (if applicable);
  3. undertake the legal due diligence;
  4. receive the advance funds into our solicitor’s trust account;
  5. certify title and pay the advance funds in accordance with the disbursement schedule through PEXA at settlement;
  6. act as custodian of the legal interest in the security on behalf of the first ranking mortgagee (lender) through our possession of the PEXA key for the Torrens Title;
  7. act upon
