Bransgroves Lawyers was founded 19 years ago in November 2001 by Matthew Bransgrove.
For the first half of the 2000s we specialised in acting on mortgage advances and enforcements for private lenders and mortgage funds. During this time construction finance and private loans formed the bulk of our practice.
Over the course of the second half of the 2000s, we came to the attention of larger institutional lenders, who began to brief us on their more complex advances, enforcement and professional negligence.
In the wake of the GFC we became, for a few years, the lead plaintiff solicitor in Australia in the field of valuer negligence.
The fallout from the GFC slowly receded and was replaced by a resurgent private mortgage market which has now lasted for over a decade.
At the current moment approximately 90% of our work is private mortgage advances and discharges.
